Repton, Abu Dhabi's iftar marks International Day of Families

Abu Dhabi, UAE (May 23, 2019): The students, parents and teachers of Repton, Abu Dhabi held a special Iftar to mark International Day of Families, and to gather food donations which were then delivered to local workers.  

Over 75 nationalities are represented at the school, making the Iftar dining experience very international, with an array of typical home-made dishes representing many countries.  

Gillian Hammond, Principal of Repton, Abu Dhabi commented: “it was an evening of community spirit, reflection, generosity and gratitude and a wonderful way to break fasting. Thanks to all of our parents who contributed to the event and made it a very memorable occasion.”
