Curtin University adds six new programs and rollouts expansion plans for their two campus as they participate in Gulf Education and Training Exhibition (GETEX) 2019

Campus expansion plans comes as a part of the University’s on-going commitment to being a recognised international leader in research and education
Dubai, UAE, 15th April 2019: Curtin University Dubai, one of Australia’s most highly regarded and prestigious universities, will participate again in this year’s Gulf Education and Training Exhibition (GETEX) that will take place at Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre from 17 to 19 April.
As one of the highest ranked universities in the region, Curtin University will present its wide range of programmes and degrees including six additional courses this year – Bachelor of Commerce Accounting and Finance Double Major, Bachelor of Commerce - Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) - Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Bachelor of Science – Cyber Security, Master of International Business, and Master of Supply Chain Management.

Curtin University has also announced plans to expand its campus facilities. Curtin will be doubling the size of their engineering facilities at their Dubai Silicon Oasis campus to prepare for the introduction of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
In addition to the physical expansion, Curtin University will also feature state-of-the-art facilities housed at their Dubai International Academic City and Dubai Silicon Oasis campuses as they plan to set-up Trading rooms for finance students using Thompson Reuters terminals, a microscopy laboratory featuring a Zeiss EVO40XVP Scanning Electron Microscope, and a CISCO laboratory for networking and cybersecurity classes.
“We are excited about the expansion and the additions to the University’s new state-of-the-art campus. We endeavor to provide our students with the best facilities possible to enhance their experience and facilitate their learning”, concluded Professor John Evans.
In 2020 Curtin University will double its academic facilities in Dubai International Academic City as they plan to add another 20,000 square feet to their existing campus.
With tens of thousands of students anticipated to attend the event, Curtin University’s staff and faculty will be on hand to discuss each student’s individual academic and career goals, and how Curtin’s academic and industry-ready education can help them achieve their aspirations particularly.
Curtin University Dubai will be exhibiting at the Gulf Education and Training Exhibition (GETEX) 2019 at stand C-100 from Wednesday 17 to Friday 19 April at Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DWTC), the biannual event is the region’s oldest education led event, supported by the UAE Ministry of Education, the Dubai Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) and the Knowledge Fund.
