Eros Group bags award at Taqdeer Award ceremony

Dubai, United Arab Emirates - 20 December, 2018:   Eros Group, distributor of world-renowned brands like Samsung, Hitachi, Linksys, TCL, Midea, Sonos, Lennox and many more, has received Taqdeer Award from Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum during an award ceremony held at Meydan Hotel in Dubai earlier this week.  

Now in its third edition, Taqdeer Award is an initiative to celebrate excellence in labour relations and welfare. Participating companies have to demonstrate implementation of best practices in labour policies, facilities and infrastructure, health and safety, security, recruitment and wages, justice and transparency, communication and feedback, creativity and innovation, administration, labour perceptions and key performance indicators, to get recognized in this awards programme. Following a rigorous evaluation by a team of qualified assessors and an independent judging committee, the applicants will be awarded a rating between one to five stars.

This year, Taqdeer Award honoured 31 companies for their policies, practices and management of labour affairs. In its first year of application, Eros Group received a 3-star ranking.
