OMEGA Showcases its Passion for Golf at the 2018 PGA Championship

Dubai, UAE, August 14, 2018:  OMEGA, Official Patron of the PGA of America, has concluded its week-long program and on-site activation at the 100th PGA Championship at Bellerive Country Club. Brooks Koepka won the PGA Championship by two strokes with an overall score of 69-63- 66-66 = 264 (-16) for his third Major Championship victory.

To kick off Championship week, OMEGA ambassadors Sergio Garcia, Rory McIlroy and Tommy Fleetwood celebrated the 100th PGA Championship by hitting a 100-yard shot at the iconic Gateway Arch National Park.

On Tuesday night, OMEGA hosted a media reception to thank the media for their hard work in advance of covering the 100th PGA Championship. On Wednesday, OMEGA hosted the second- annual OMEGA Golf Trophy Finals at Norwood Hills Country Club where 30 guests from around the country enjoyed a competition. At the OMEGA Golf Trophy awards dinner, Fleetwood surprised guests with his appearance and presented the tournament’s awards.

On-site at the PGA Championship, OMEGA provided spectators with an interactive photo opportunity at the digital selfie wall in The Championship Shops featuring life-size images of McIlroy, Garcia and Fleetwood. The digital images of the ambassadors spoke to fans entering the tent encouraging them to take a selfie with them.

The OMEGA On-site Boutique inside The Championship Shops provided fans with a chance to try on and purchase OMEGA products.

McIlroy, an OMEGA Ambassador since 2013, won the 2012 PGA Championship in Kiawah Island, S.C. and the 2014 PGA Championship at Valhalla in Louisville, Ky. Garcia, an OMEGA Ambassador since 2003, finished second at the 1999 PGA Championship and has recorded numerous professional wins including The Masters in 2017. Fleetwood has finished second at the

U.S. Open, tied for 12th at The Open Championship, tied for 17th at the Masters and finished tied for 35th place here in St. Louis, in this, his first year as an OMEGA Ambassador.
