Consumers will now be able to get more personalized versions of the Galaxy S9 and S9+ family in Sunrise Gold and Coral Blue
Dubai, UAE – June 19th 2018: Samsung Gulf Electronics has officially launched two new color editions of the Galaxy S9 and S9+, Sunrise Gold and Coral Blue. The new color editions were added to meet the needs of discerning consumers who want devices that express their style and personality.
The Sunrise Gold edition for Galaxy S9 and S9+ is Samsung’s first device to feature a satin gloss finish which wraps the smartphone in a tranquil glow and glimmer. The new Sunrise Gold was envisioned to capture the beauty of the moment when the sunlight reaches its zenith, creating a feeling of both vibrancy and calm. This sophisticated finish was developed to appeal to all users by bringing a stylistic touch of high fashion and urban interior design to a user’s mobile device. Similarly, the new Coral Blue edition was created to fit the design elements that include the materials and finishes of the device. The color was inspired by the quietness of water projected in the glass by the soft light at dawn, to provide a sense of calm and tranquility often associated with nature.
“The way that customers interact with their smartphones continues to evolve and impact their self-expression, and color choice has become a very important component of that personalization. The introduction of these two exciting and vibrant colors to the Galaxy S9 and S9+ in the region further empowers customers to connect to others and express themselves in a way that’s unique and personal to them,” said Tarek Sabbagh, Head of IT and Mobile (IM) Division, Samsung Gulf Electronics. “The response to the Galaxy S9 and S9+ has been overwhelmingly positive, and we remain committed to listening to our customers and continuing to deliver meaningful innovation based on our legacy in design and heritage in technology.”
The Galaxy S9 and S9+ introduce an array of innovative features to the Galaxy series, unveiling exciting new ways for users to capture and share special moments, express themselves, and interact with the world around them.
The devices’ redesigned camera features a Dual Aperture lens that adapts to the environment similar to the way the iris of a human eye expands and contracts, Samsung’s Dual Aperture automatically lets in more light when it’s dark and less light when it’s too bright, taking photos that are crisp and clear; an innovative Super Slow-mo video function, which allows users to capture everyday epic moments in detail at 960 frames per second; and new, customizable AR Emojis with beloved Disney characters along with 36 new expressive stickers. Other enhancements include immersive, AKG-tuned stereo speakers, which complement the refined Infinity Display, and deeper integration with Samsung’s intelligence platform, Bixby.
The Sunrise Gold and Coral Blue editions of the Galaxy S9 and S9+ will be available at all major retailers and Samsung Brand stores across the UAE, as well as online at Shop.Samsung.com. The price for both smartphones will be dependent on memory size:
