New Master Maserati Driving Courses for 2018

An exclusive driving experience with professional drivers on board the Maserati range

Dubai - UAE, 16  May 2018 – The new Master Maserati programmes are tailored for the various levels of experience, under the constant watchful eye of the best Maserati drivers, enabling participants to learn all the secrets of sporty driving and put their skills at the wheel to the test, thanks to a completely renewed fleet of cars including all the models in the Maserati range. 

The 2018 season comprises a selection of programmes: Master on track – subdivided into four courses, Practice, Qualifying, Race and Championship, Master off road – offering two courses, Rally Shakedown and Rally Power Stage, and Master Incentive, conceived for groups and companies, which can be personalised to the customer's requirements. All courses are designed for all those seeking an exclusive experience that will teach them how to handle a Maserati like a real racing driver in all situations, revelling in the pure adrenalin but with the greatest safety.
 
To make every aspect of the course unforgettable, all the Maserati models will be used: from the Quattroporte flagship to the Ghibli luxury sedan, the Levante SUV and the GranTurismo and GranCabrio sports cars. Every car is equipped with a telemetry system to allow participants to assess their driving performance with the instructors and understand how they can improve their skills. Thrilling experiences with a strong emotional impact, and an excellent way of learning control and safety in even the most extreme road conditions.

All Master Maserati driving courses take place on the Varano de’ Melegari circuit, twenty or so kilometres from Parma, Italy. With a lavish set of facilities and high safety standards, it is the ideal circuit for an enjoyable learning experience. The new off-road area, within a private nature reserve, offers a harsh environment on technical trails with plenty of natural obstacles and barriers. Additional features such as the low grip surface and the slide machine enrich the range of the possible activities, for a truly complete experience with the perfect blend of technique, learning and fun.

In detail, the Master Maserati 2018 driving course season offers the following range of programmes:

PRACTICE: This course is the chance to learn the basic concepts of sporty driving on a racing circuit. The half-day programme includes theoretical and practical sessions on board every model in the Maserati range, supported by professional drivers. An excellent opportunity to enter the Maserati world as a privileged guest.

QUALIFYING: A day dedicated to improving circuit driving techniques. The course is dedicated to those wishing turn up the heat of their driving performances at the wheel of a Maserati. The intensive programme consists of several sessions at the wheel, designed to improve circuit driving techniques, with the aid of telemetric data analysis and also including oversteering practice.

RACE: Two days with the Master Maserati programme's top instructors, at the wheel of the entire model range and a racing car, the GranTurismo Sport GT4, to achieve the very best on-track performance.

CHAMPIONSHIP: The most exclusive Master Maserati course, involving not only practice at the wheel of the GranTurismo Sport GT4 but also hot laps as a passenger in the MC12 Versione Corse alongside Andrea Bertolini, four times FIA GT1 world champion.

RALLY SHAKEDOWN: The course provides an introduction to the art of off-road driving with the Maserati Levante. The intensive half-day programme takes place in the Varano circuit nature reserve, with its harsh unpaved trails, steep slopes and natural obstacles. Participants also have the opportunity to explore hill-country roads in the Ghibli and Quattroporte sedans, guided by the invaluable advice of professional drivers.

RALLY POWER STAGE: This whole-day master class combines an effective approach to off-road driving with circuit driving techniques. The course includes the pleasure of handling the Levante SUV on and off-road, testing its handling on the harshest terrains. In the on-track session which follow, participants will also experience the dynamism of not only the Levante itself but also the GranTurismo and GranCabrio sports cars.

MASTER INCENTIVE: For groups and companies, these courses can be completely customised to offer a truly unforgettable experience to cement the bond between the members of a group. The course creates tailor-made solutions to the specific needs and objectives of every company's team or VIP customers, welcoming groups of any size for the required number of days. Throughout the entire programme, professional drivers are on hand to give individual lessons, with telemetric data recording. Driving sessions can be combined with cultural programmes and activities, such as the Maserati factory tour, a visit to the Panini Motor Museum in Modena to view the Panini family's private collection of historic Maserati models, and full immersion in the food and wines of Maserati's home in the  Emilia region.
