More than 100 participants attended the workshop that included an extensive coaching on all skill categories (Speaking, Writing, Reading, and Listening).
SUC Head of English Language Centre, Dr. Victoria Verna gave a thorough orientation about the test format, the techniques of IELTS and conducted classes. The workshop helped the candidates with test format, preparation techniques, and time management skills. On the last day of the workshop, a mock test was administered to give a feel of the real exam and to assess their proficiency in different components.
In addition to this, SUC has exclusively added a session on Outcome-Based Teaching and Learning (OBTL) for teachers and a Robotics Class for students in the program. SUC Head of Academics-School of IT, Dr. Deepak Kalra spearheaded the OBTL session and Robotics Class where he gave students a hands-on experience on operating robots.
SUC organizes many workshops for the benefit of local schools and corporates as a part of its academic pursuit. One such workshop is the IELTS Workshop, which is freely offered to the school teachers and the students. IELTS is one of the admission requirements of the Ministry of Education Approved and Accredited Universities in the UAE. SUC provides complete university facilities as an approved IELTS training and examination center in the UAE.
