Dubai based fine jewellery designer Lana Al Kamal, releases her debut collection
Dubai, UAE, April 10, 2018: Born in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, it is no surprise that Lana Al Kamal, decided to manufacture her debut collection at one of Saudi Arabia’s most famous jewellery manufacturers. However, her Saudi up bringing wasn’t her only inspiration.
From Syrian parents, Lana recalls the idea behind the brand was built upon her Father’s advice - “Let your eyes see only beauty” forming her taste for art, and obsession with small details, that grew into an extraordinary pleasure to discover.
Drawing geometrical shapes soon became a hobby, leading Lana to architectural studies which refined her vision and honed her attention to form and functional details. After finishing her studies in Syria, Lana worked as architect and interior designer before moving to Dubai, United Arab Emirates in 2015 where she then embarked on a new project to follow her passion, creating Lana Al Kamal Jewelry.
Leaves of joy, is the debut collection launching this Spring, inspired the most simple elements of nature. Each piece references different elements such as raindrops, leaves, flower motifs, ladybugs, branches and nests intricately brought to life in 18 karat gold and Zirconia stones in a palette of deep blue, aquamarine and pure white, which symbolise the changing colours of water.
The thirteen piece 18 Karat gold collection are all sketched by hand and painted in watercolours by Lana herself, before embarking upon the production process. The collection in total contains thirteen styles, of five necklaces, three bracelets, three rings and two sets of earrings, with only seven pieces of each produced in order to maintain uniqueness and exclusivity.
Many pieces in the collection are designed to change with movement, creating a three dimensional masterpiece inspired by the wind that gives movement to trees, leaves, flowers and running water drops that chase each other down stems and branches.
Lana Al Kamal Jewelry is a reflection and interpretation of the simplest objects and elements surrounding us. It is an appreciation of simple beauty, precious enough to add the shine to your morning energy and the sparks to your evening romances.
