JOHNSON’S® Baby tent at JBR to showcase new HEAD-TO-TOE® range on 8th and 9th March, 2018
Dubai, UAE, 8 March, 2018: JOHNSON’S® Baby, today officially launched its first semi-therapeutic product line, JOHNSON’S® Baby HEAD-TO-TOE®, at Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR) over a panel discussion, which brought together brand representatives, an independent doctor, media and influential mothers from the local community. The JOHNSON’S® Baby tent at JBR will welcome visitors for two days, over 8th and 9th March.
Sana Naweel, Shopper Manager for Johnson & Johnson was pleased with the outcome of the event - “We are absolutely delighted to officially launch JOHNSON’S® Baby’s first semi therapeutic product line, HEAD-TO-TOE®, today in the UAE. The Extra Moisturising baby wash and cream have already been on the shelves and have been very well received by parents”. According to Naweel, JOHNSON’S® have been pioneers in the science of baby skin care for more than 125 years and have, over the past 5 years, helped advance ninety per cent of the research on baby’s skin globally. “Our region’s weather and water conditions can be very harsh on baby’s skin, so special and gentle care is very important to maintain healthy baby skin. Our HEAD-TO-TOE® range is specially designed to offer babies the protection that their skin needs, from making the tap water more gentle by neutralizing its pH level to guaranteeing a lock in of 24 hours moisturization. We hope both parents and babies benefit from our new products,” she said.
JOHNSON’S® Baby recently conducted a study which surveyed mothers in the Middle East about their baby’s skin. The study found that only 10% of mothers believed that their baby’s skin was dry, when in fact, more than 60% of these babies had clinical signs of dryness. From birth, a baby’s skin needs more protection and care in relation to hygiene, bathing, cleansing agents and topical products.
Speaking on baby’s skin sensitivity, Dr. Nancy Ahmed Radian Ghanem, Specialist Pediatrics from Prime Hospital said, “A baby’s skin is far more sensitive than an adults’ skin. It loses moisture twice as fast as adult’s hence, it is important to moisturize regularly your baby with the right product. The naked eye isn’t always the best judge of the dryness level that underlies beneath the multiple skin layers, which is why parents should choose products that have the right PH level, are gentle to the skin, hypoallergenic and will work in compliment with the region’s weather and hard water conditions.”
The entire JOHNSON’S® Baby HEAD-TO-TOE® range can be used from the first day of a baby’s life and is perfectly pH balanced for their delicate skin. The wash is free of dye and soap and is clinically proven to soften hard tap water. Both the extra moisturizing baby wash and cream variants are hypoallergenic and have been tested by dermatologists and pediatricians alike, to reduce irritation to skin, scalp and eyes, while keeping the skin moisturized for 24 hours.
Parents visiting the JOHNSON’S® tent can experience first-of-its-kind technology that tests their skin for dryness levels. JOHNSON’S® Baby team members will offer insight on how to keep babies’ skin healthy and moisturized. Families will be offered samples to use and try at home, along with an opportunity to take pictures at the quirky photo corner.
