Convoy of Culinary Experiences Rolls into Abu Dhabi Food Festival

Abu Dhabi, 12 December 2017: As part of the jam-packed Abu Dhabi Food Festival programme, the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi is delighted to host the all-new Truckers Carnival, the perfect mix between a food truck festival and a fun fair, at Marina Mall. Featuring a selection of the newest and most sought-after food trucks in the UAE, the festival will offer visitors the opportunity to sample fresh and delicious culinary treats. The convoy of food trucks and carnival games are in place and ready to delight visitors to the Marina Mall in Abu Dhabi from December 7 – 23, with guests invited to come and enjoy the authentic carnival vibe.
Visitors to the Truckers Carnival will also have the opportunity to experience the world-famous Architects of Air Luminarium on its final stop of its Middle East tour. Since 1992, more than 3 million visitors in over 40 countries across 5 continents have been welcomed into the Architects of Air’s monumental inflatable structures, immersing themselves in radiant colour.
Kids and adults alike will have fun trying their luck and showing off to their friends as they try to win prizes at the carnival games. Any purchase from a food truck will unlock free tickets to games. Admission to the carnival is free and all games are pay as you play.
Tickets for the Luminarium will be priced at 20AED.
The Truckers Carnival will be open from 4 – 11pm daily during weekdays; and 2pm - 12am during weekends.
