Dabur International extends support to highly successful first ever AYUSH international exhibition in Dubai

Dabur International has extended full support to the first AYUSH international exhibition that recently concluded. AYUSH that stands for (Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homoeopathy. The Conference and Exhibition was held at the World Trade Centre and was a great success. Dabur International was also one of AYUSH's active exhibitors, optimizing the trade show's global platform to showcase its extensive range of Ayurvedic products and many more.

Witnessing a large footfall, the company welcomed dignitaries and high-level officials led by Indian Ambassador to the UAE H.E. Navdeep Suri who visited its exhibition stand to explore and learn about its top product offerings.

The prestigious exhibition, the first of its kind in the UAE, attracted renowned personalities during the three-day event. Aside from the Indian Ambassador, Indian Minister of AYUSH Shripad Naik was also present in the exhibition as well as world-renowned Ayurveda scholar Dr. J.L.N Sastry from Dabur India, who was invited to be one of the forum's celebrity speakers and was an integral part of Dabur International’s presence at the 3 day exhibition.

India has created The Department of AYUSH to develop, educate, and conduct research in Ayurveda, an Indian traditional medicine; yoga; naturopathy; unani; siddha; homoeopathy; Sowa-rigpa (traditional Tibetan medicine); and other indigenous alternative medicines.

The department was created in March 1995 initially as the Department of Indian Systems of Medicine and Homoeopathy (ISM&H). It was renamed The Department of AYUSH in March 2003 when it was still under the control of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
