MEPCO Participates in the 44th Session of the Baghdad International Fair

MEPCO a leading Paper Manufacturer Joins Delegation of 60 Leading Saudi Arabian Companies in Saudi Pavilion
Jeddah, Saudi Arabia; 22 October 2017: The Middle East and Africa’s leading vertically-integrated paper manufacturer, the Middle East Paper Company (MEPCO), participates in the 44th session of the Baghdad International Fair on 21st – 30th October. The company will join a delegation of around 60 leading Saudi Arabian companies in the Saudi Pavilion.
Mr. Sami Safran, CEO MEPCO commented: “We are proud to join the Saudi Export Development Authority in building bridges of communication with Iraq, part of a broader KSA government and business effort to create a starting point for fruitful cooperation between both of our countries. Our efforts are aligned with the Saudi Vision 2030, making a vital contribution towards enhancing the nation’s trade.”
Baghdad International Fair is an important initiative for The Republic of Iraq to build bridges of communication and enrich economic relations with other countries. MEPCO’s objective is to look for available investment opportunities in the Iraqi market.
MEPCO’s attendance of this event will open the organisation to new markets, extending its footprint for product distribution and will serve to strengthen their regional presence across the Middle East and Africa. This is an expression of MEPCO’s market expansion strategy, which aims to create a diversified customer base. Exports are made to over 40 countries across every corner of the globe.
MEPCO is making great strides towards achieving its aim to be one of the foremost manufacturers and suppliers of high-quality paper products, having realised approximately 700% sales growth in just 15 years. The company’s trade is spread across a multitude of markets, customers and products and it has achieved high market shares across many countries.
