ADNEC Registers High Interest for Abu Dhabi International Boat Show 2018

Abu Dhabi-UAE: 16 September 2017 – Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC) today announced that the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show 2018, set to run at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre in October next year, is already registering high uptake from prospective exhibitors and key stakeholders within the marine industry.
Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri, Group CEO of ADNEC, said: “Over the last few months, we have been witnessing a great deal of interest in the 2018 edition of the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show from local and international leisure and marine industry players, key stakeholders and enthusiasts. With over 30% of the Marina berths already sold the event is well on-track to be the largest ever gathering of boats and water-sports in Abu Dhabi. Showcasing cutting-edge technology and innovation in the marine industry, the event will include a unique networking platform for marine professionals to meet and discuss best practices and marine luxury and retail trends.”

Earlier in 2017 as part of its efforts to ensure a competitive and successful event, ADNEC announced the ratification of a partnership agreement with British Marine Boat Shows – a subsidiary of British Marine. Event organiser British Marine Boat Shows, has also hosted the London Boat Show and TheYachtMarket.com Southampton Boat Show. The London Boat Show takes place at ExCeL London, London’s premier event venue and a wholly owned subsidiary of ADNEC.
The Abu Dhabi International Boat Show will be held at the attractive location of the ADNEC Marina which includes a 6m deep channel enabling ships of all sizes to berth alongside an extensive purpose-built 31,000m2 show marina.
