Dubai, UAE, August 21, 2017:  Italian for “driver”, the name Pilota captures the cool, competitive character of this dynamic new chronograph collection with color-charged, cockpit-style instrumentation dial detail. 

Crafted in stainless steel with a vertical brushed or black or grey ion-plated finish, the 45mm case features crown protection and extended sport lugs with aerodynamic contours sculpted for wind-deflecting stealth. The case is topped by a black or gunmetal ion-plated bezel calibrated with a white or black minute track printed in the Scuderia Ferrari “fast” font. The round matte sunray dial – in red, black, blue or grey, signed with the name PILOTA beneath the yellow or applied silver-toned Scudetto logo at 12 o’clock – is detailed by 3 matching or contrasting recessed subdials with a fine concentric circles or “CD-cut” texture, encircled by contrasting index rings in black, silver, or team red or yellow. 

The center-mounted white or red chronograph seconds hand sports a Scudetto-shaped counterbalance, while the polished stainless steel hour and minute hands feature luminescent white fill. Precisely detailed with applied black or steel/white markers, a printed fifths-of-a-second track and date display, the chronograph is offered on a visually integrated smooth black or brown leather strap with debossed Scudetto logo, painted black edge, colored tack-stitch detail, and brushed steel or ion-plated classic buckle, or on a bold link bracelet in brushed, black or gray ion-plated stainless steel with hidden deployment clasp. 

The Pilota family also celebrates its deep-rooted performance racing inspiration with six special edition multi-function models honoring Ferrari’s own Fiorano test track in Maranello, Italy (limited to 500 pieces) and five famed city courses throughout Asia and Oceania (limited to 300 pieces each). With its bold crown protector, race track-engraved case back and reflector ring with colored country flag detail, each special edition design is limited to 300 pieces, and presented on a link-textured black silicone strap in distinctive custom-designed packaging.
