Patrimony provides a pure and contemporary reinterpretation of a noble classic from the Vacheron Constantin heritage, stemming from the traditional watchmaking of the 1950s. The deliberately minimalistic impression belies a concern for detail aimed at achieving perfectly balanced lines. The dial, applied hour-markers and hands all follow the gentle curve of the case, complemented by a perfectly designed small seconds subdial and a “pearl” minute track. A watch to be worn like a second skin for a supreme touch of elegance.

Since 2006, through its Collection Excellence Platine concept, Vacheron Constantin has been offering collectors the ultimate expression of Fine Watchmaking: exceptional watches in 950 platinum issued in limited series and ranging from the simplest to the most complicated models. Above and beyond a platinum case, their common denominators are a platinum dial with a sand-blasted finish, a secret “Pt950” signature between 4 and 5 o'clock, 18K white gold hands, hour-markers and a “pearl” minute track, a dark blue alligator leather strap hand-stitched with silk tread and platinum thread, as well as a polished half Maltese cross-shape platinum buckle. A majestic embodiment of the Patrimony aesthetic.

Issued in a 150-piece limited and numbered series, the Patrimony Collection Excellence Platine watch asserts itself as a watchmaking dream. Its generous 42 mm-diameter case houses the Manufacture calibre 4400 AS, visible through the sapphire crystal caseback and adorned with a Côtes de Genève motif. Its dimensions are perfectly tailored to those of the case. A Hallmark of Geneva certified mechanism dedicated to the cause of exclusivity.
