Empower to Participate in 108th IDEA Annual Conference & Tradeshow in Arizona, U.S.

This conference will be held in sync with the IDEA Board of Directors Meeting

Dubai, UAE, 21 June 2017: Ahmad Bin Shafar, the CEO of Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (EMPOWER), the world’s largest district cooling services provider, will be attending the International District Energy Association’s (IDEA)108the Annual Conference & Tradeshow, which will take place in Scottsdale, Arizona-United States,from 26 to 29 June 2017. Ahmad Bin Shafar will also attend the IDEA Board of Directors’ meeting which will be held on the side lines of the conference. Ahmad Bin Shafaris the first Emirati Arab member of the IDEA Board of Directors since 2013.

As the prime most annual event for district energy industry, biggest companies, experts and scientists from all over the world participate in this event. Many workshops, seminars and meeting are held during the conference, and many important topics on district energy are discussed. 

Empower’s participation at the 108th IDEA Conference & Tradeshow is in line with its efforts to enhance its presence globally; in an attempt to achieve better communication with global key players in the energy and cooling sectors.

The IDEA Board of Directors plans the event in advanceto give attendees - including energy professionals, consultancies, government agencies and system developers - the opportunity to learn more about district energy from a global perspective and meet with a variety of vendors and suppliers.
