Empower to extend its district cooling solutions to Al Jaddaf area in Dubai with 30,000 refrigeration tons (RT)

Dubai, UAE, 5 June 2017:  Continuing its growth across Dubai, Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (Empower), the world’s largest district cooling services provider, has announced that its district cooling services will now be available in Al Jaddaf area for all the residential and commercial buildings and projects under construction. 

Empower will provide its services to finished and under construction projects in Al Jaddaf area. Being the world's largest district cooling services provider, the company is keen to provide residents of Jaddaf area with the latest district cooling technologies, which will help reduce energy consumption and provide more efficient and eco-friendly cooling services for their developments.

Dubai’s Al Jaddaf area is bordered to the north and east by the Dubai Creek, to the south by Zabeel, and to the west by Umm Hurair 2. The area is still developing to a huge hotel hub with many high-end hotels at present in construction. With many residential and commercial apartments, this area also has a metro station which is controlled by the Roads and Transport Authority of Dubai (RTA).

The concept of district cooling has been adopted by several areas and projects in Dubai.
