‘This is Muhammad' – World's Largest book on display at Al Wahda Mall

• The book weighs 1500 kg and is the first Arabic book to be included in the Guinness Book of World Records
• A signing ceremony to initiate the display was held between H.E. Dr. Mohammed Saeed Al Awlaqi, Chairman of Mashahad International Group and Mr. Nauman Thakur, General Manager, Al Wahda Mall, Abu Dhabi on May 25, 2017 in the mall premises
• The book is 5metres in length, 8.06metres wide and consists of 431 pages

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, May 31, 2017:  Al Wahda Mall, an Iconic landmark &favourite shopping destination located in the heart of Abu Dhabi city displays ‘This is Muhammad’ – World’s largest book.  The book weighing 1500 kg, is the first Arabic book to be included in the Guinness Book of World Records. A signing ceremony to initiate the display was held between H.E. Dr. Mohammed Saeed Al Awlaqi, Chairman of Mashahad International Group and Mr. Mohammad Nauman Thakur, General Manager, Al Wahda Mall, Abu Dhabi on May 25, 2017 at the mall management office.

The book measuring five meters in length, eight meters in width, consists of431 pages has already achieved 5 Guinness World Records: the largest, the longest, widest, heaviest and the most expensive book in the world.

As a part of the mall’s Ramadan initiatives, the book will be on display throughout the Holy month of Ramadan and the days of Eid Al Fitr topromote the nations culture of tolerance.

HE Dr. Mohammed Saeed Al Awlaki, Chairman of Mashahad International Group and owner of the largest book said, “We are extremely pleased to have the book displayed at the Al Wahda Mall premises. Since its inception, the book has won 22 international and local awards. It was created by over 300 workers and 15 scientists from around the worldover a period of nine months. The book has toured along all major malls in the UAE and the Al Wahda Mall is the last iconic location in the nation. From here the book will be sent to another GCC country to continue to spread the message of Charity and Tolerance.”

The book will be displayed at Al Wahda Mall from May 27, 2017, the first day of the holy month of Ramadanand the days of Eid Al Fitr. A number of cultural events and competitions are planned in the presence of celebrities and diplomatic figures. Visitors are invited to take souvenir pictures in front of the World’s Largest Book and participate in its 1 million signature campaign.
