UAE, May 18, 2017 - As part of its responsibility to monitor the implementation of the National Health Agenda 2021 and its progress, the Executive Group of Health Regulatory Indicators, chaired by H.E. Dr. Amin Hussein Al Amiri, Assistant Undersecretary for Public Health Policy and Licensing of the Ministry of Health and Prevention, recently held its second meeting in the presence of the local regulatory health authorities. Members of the Executive Group aim to address medical malpractices cases in the country and increase the number of local health facilities with international accreditation.
H.E. Dr. Al Amiri commended the local health authorities for their continuing efforts to achieve the goals of the National Health Agenda, saying that their initiatives are helping improve the quality of health services in the country and increasing the sector’s global competitiveness.
The attendees gained insights into the composition and tasks of the sub-teams associated with the executive team. It was agreed that the sub-teams would proceed immediately to carry out all the tasks assigned to them within a specific time frame.
