Prime Healthcare Group's MD Dr. Jamil Ahmed honored with Business Excellence Award 2017 by IBPC – Dubai

UAE, April 19, 2017- Dr. Jamil Ahmed, Managing Director of Prime Healthcare Group, has been conferred the ‘Business Excellence Award 2017’ by the Indian Business and Professional Council (IBPC) - Dubai, the only recognized representative organization of the emirate’s Indian business and professional community. He was recognized for his outstanding role in successfully leading the growth of the Group network of 12 medical centers, one super-specialty hospital, one state-of-the-art laboratory, and eleven pharmacies across the UAE in less than two decades. An orthopedic surgeon trained in India and Germany, Dr. Ahmed founded Prime Healthcare Group with the opening of the first Prime Medical Center in 1999. 

The ‘Business Excellence Award 2017’ was held recently during a gala ceremony at the Bollywood Parks, Dubai. H.E. Abdulla A. Al Saleh, Undersecretary for the Foreign Trade and Industry Department, UAE Ministry of Economy and H.E. Dr. Rashid Al Leem, Chairman of the Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority (SEWA), presented the award to Dr. Ahmed.

IBPC - Dubai was established in 2003 by uniting the three Dubai-based Indian business organizations – the Indian Business Council (IBC), Overseas Indians Economic Forum (OIEF), and Business and Professional Club (BPC).
