Empower Facilitates E-payment through “Rosoom” of Dubai Trade

Dubai, UAE - April 12, 2017: Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (EMPOWER), the world's largest district cooling services provider, recently entered into an agreement with Dubai Trade, the premier trade facilitation entity, to utilise its ‘Rosoom’ the secured online payment gateway. The agreement was signed by HE Ahmad Bin Shafar, CEO of Empower and Eng. Mahmood Al Bastaki, CEO of Dubai Trade, in the presence of both parties’ seniors and officials,at Empower’s head office.
“At Empower we are committed to provide our customers with best-in-class services to streamline their day-to-day life. Our association with Dubai Trade is a testament to our efforts and initiatives to provide smart services to our customers and drive the UAE government’s smart vision. The e-payment gateway will not only eliminate the need for customers visiting our office to make payments, but also provide easy convenience and security for our valued customers,” said H.EBin Shafar.
Under the terms of agreement, Empower’s customer base of more than65,000 will now be able to access Dubai Trade’s e-payment gateway ‘Rosoom’. The unique e-payment gateway will help Empower’s customers process the company’s payment for services rendered through multiple payment options including major credit and debit cards free of charge. Empower had announced earlier exempting its customers from transaction fees while they pay online. This move reflects the company’s firm belief in contributing to the smart transformation as well as to increase the efficiency of its services, rationalise costs and enhance reliability in financial transactions.
Eng. Al Bastaki has welcomed this partnership and said: “We value Empower’s reliance on our services, in particular ‘Rosoom’, and confident that it will save their clients’ time and effort especially with the feature of high level of security. Dubai Trade is driven by its vision to enable seamless trade, and our Rosoom platform was initiated to further facilitate the payment transactions of trade and logistics services. Rosoom has recorded till date over 8.3 million transactions with collections of AED 6 billion, which indicates to be the more reliable payment mean to the users of Dubai Trade e-services as well as the clients of our integrated partners.”
Accessible at the Empower website, the ‘Rosoom’ e-payment gateway can be accessed through the registration process. The Rosoom e-payment gateway is part of Dubai Trade’s platform which allows secure and reliablepayment transactions for all parties involved.
“Rosoom is a state-of-the-art system that is password-protected. The payment gateway permits paperless transactions, ensuring that our customers can use the platform to make payments through their smart phone. It is designed to offer customers utmost convenience just through a click,” added H.E Bin Shafar.
Empower currently operates more than 1.250 Million RT, providing environmentally responsible district cooling services to large-scale real estate developments such as Jumeirah Group, Business Bay, Jumeirah Beach Residence, Dubai International Financial Centre, Palm Jumeirah, Jumeirah Lake Towers, Ibn Battuta Mall, Discovery Gardens, Dubai Healthcare City, Dubai World trade Centre Residences, Dubai Design District, among others.
