UAE, April 6, 2017- The General Secretariat of the Supreme Legislation Committee in the Emirate of Dubai (SLC) has confirmed its participation together with other leading government entities at this year's edition of “Careers UAE,” which will be held from April 9 to April 11, 2017 at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC). The SLC's presence at this exciting three-day event is aimed at attracting UAE national talents and encouraging them to be part of the legislative system in the emirate of Dubai. This participation comes in line with the SLC's commitment to supporting the Emiratisation policy which aims to mobilize the full potential of the UAE human capital to achieve progress and development within the broader framework of the UAE Vision 2021.
During the event, the SLC will be showcasing an interactive platform that will provide fresh UAE national graduates and young professionals with the opportunity to build a successful career and highly contribute to the development of the country's legal and legislative system and to sustainable development in Dubai. The event will serve as a strategic platform to highlight innovative initiatives aimed at building an attractive work environment that enhances competitiveness at the SLC. The SLC has expressed its strong support for current efforts to optimize investment in human resources that value creativity, innovation and excellence. This will enable the SLC to play an active, innovative and leading role in the drive for more growth in Dubai.
H.E. Ahmad bin Meshar, SLC Secretary General said, “Our participation at “Careers UAE 2017” comes as a response to the guidance of our wise leadership in unifying government and national efforts to support Emiratisation which is one of the top strategic priorities of the UAE. We believe that it is important to develop the capacities of individuals as they are the cornerstone of the development of our country. We are responsible for the development of national talents as we believe that providing an integrated legislative system that supports the sustainable development plans of Dubai requires highly qualified and skilled human resources capable of achieving our strategic goals of issuing realistic and forward looking legislation. We are optimistic about this upcoming event that supports our efforts to capitalise on the potential of young nationals with a view to achieving the goals of Dubai Plan 2021 which focuses on building productive, creative, and pioneering individuals that will form a solid pillar for development.”
Moza Al Mansouri, Head of the Human Resources Section at SLC, said: “Even if SLC was founded only three years ago, we have succeeded in creating a positive impact in attracting distinguished national talents to be part of the legislative and legal system. This reflects the SLC’s core value of promoting national talents by providing them with essential training, development, and support, and by believing in their potential. As part of our support for the Emiratisation initiative, we look forward to attracting the best talents to take advantage of the productive and positive work environment that triggers innovation, excellence, and happiness in order to create a distinct legal environment. We are confident that our presence at this event will be a major boost to our efforts to actively contribute to supporting empowerment, education, and Emiratisation.”
