Saif Al Midfa: “Watches & Jewellery Show” Top of its kind in the region

Exhibitors Praise Organization & Huge Footfall in the 42d edition, running till 8th April

His Excellency, Saif Al-Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah, confirmed that the Middle Eat Watch and Jewellery Show has become the leading event of its kind in the region, in terms of the numbers of participating exhibitors, the volume and quality of gold pieces, jewellery and watches showcased inside, and the number of visitors from across the world.
Al Midfa added that it is the only bi-annual show of its kind in the region, and the only one that caters to B2B visitors and B2C buyers at the same time, a features that is not seen in other regional shows.
Al-Midfa expects the number of visitors to the show to reach 61,000, recording a 15% increase from the previous edition.
A large number of local, Arab and international exhibitors hailed the meticulous organization and heavy public attendance to the 42nd Middle East Watches and Jewellery Show, which opened its doors on Tuesday, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, and will run till April 8.
Over 500 of the world’s leading gold, diamond, gems and pearl jewelers and the finest watchmakers participate in the current edition of the show, and they all agreed on the good organization and wide presence of locals and residents of the UAE, in addition to Arab and foreign tourists that have come specifically to seize the large offers and wide variety of items that are showcased for sale at the show.
Collar Crescenzo, Italy: The exhibition exceeds others of its kind held in the region
Italian jewellery exhibitor, Collaro Crescenzo , stressed the importance of the exhibition and his company's keenness to participate in it for seven years. He noted that it represents an excellent opportunity to increase sales due to the heavy presence of visitors and Italian jewelry lovers, especially that it is held twice a year, which makes it an excellent platform to be in constant touch with the public.
Genevieve, Hong King: a large and unprecedented audience
Genevieve brand of Hong Kong, which marks its fourth participation in the show this edition, thanked the management of Sharjah Centre Expo for the “great and unique exhibition, that brings along a good boost in sales volumes, steadily throughout its editions.”
Kanz Al Sahra, Saudi Arabia: A large variety of jewellery offered at competitive prices
Mr. Ayman Habash, Director of Public Relations at Saudi Arabia’s Kanz Al Sahra jewellery manufacturer, stressed their keenness to participate in the show, as it holds a great value and attracts a large audience of different nationalities from around the world, as well as offering a wide variety of Arab, India, Italian and European jewellery that satisfy all tastes, at competitive prices.
Jovial: A continuous participation in the show since its launch
Hassan Awad, Assistant Sales Manager at Jovial Watches expressed a great pleasure to be present at the exhibition and stressed that Jovial has always been keen to participate in the show since the launch of its first edition. He praised the special position the show holds and how it stands out from others, in addition to the artistic touches that are felt by exhibitors and visitors in the different pavilions, making the show a masterpiece.
Shueibi Jewellery: The exhibition is constantly developing
Salem Al Shueibi, owner of Al Shueibi jewellery said that this is the 42nd participation of his company in the show, stressing that the event has been developing and advancing continuously, and attracting more exhibitors, adding that the increase witnessed in the large numbers of visitors, and their various nationalities, is a result of the participation of exhibitors from around the world.
