UAE's Albatha strengthening its relationship with Portugal

Portuguese Ambassador, Joaquim Moreira de Lemos visits CSA, Colep Scitra Aerosols, a JV between companies from UAE and Portugal

Dubai, UAE, January 25th, 2017: Just over three years ago Scitra, part of the Albatha Group had signed a joint venture agreement with Portugal headquartered, Colep, to form a new company called Colep Scitra Aerosols (CSA). Since then, Albatha has grown the business with European companies and has taken the relationship to a higher level.

Portuguese Ambassador, Joaquim Moreira de Lemos and the Economical and Commercial Counsellor, Nuno Lima Leite visited Colep Scitra Aerosols factory to meet with the officials from the company.

The JV had invested in the expansion and improvement of the aerosol filling plant in Sharjah UAE, aligning it with the highest international standards required by multi-national brands within the personal care and home care industries. Today, CSA offers high quality, safety and supply chain aerosol contract filling from its facility in Sharjah, UAE. From this strategic manufacturing location, CSA are able to provide personal care and homecare products to the Middle East and African markets,” said José Cunha, General Manager of CSA.

Colep, is a global leader in the consumer goods packaging and contract manufacturing industries. The company has a turnover of around Euros 500 million and employs 3,850 people in Portugal, Brazil, Germany, Mexico, Poland, Spain, United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom.
