Carolina Herrera Celebrates 35 Years of Fashion in Madrid

Madrid -  November 20, 2016:  On Monday, November 14 United States Ambassadors, James Costos and Michael Smith hosted in their residence a cocktail party in honor of Carolina Herrera to celebrate her 35th Anniversary in Fashion.

Madrid, the second home to Carolina Herrera, embraced a celebration that brought together many faces as Carolina Herrera de Baez or the international model Karlie Kloss, among other personalities, friends of the house, publishers, stylists, photographers and other important names in Madrid's culture and society who wanted to join this celebration of three and a half decades of timeless elegance and irreverent sophistication of the house. 

Following the cocktail party, Herrera presented her book, Carolina Herrera: 35 Years of Fashion on Tuesday, November 15. The presentation was hosted by the journalist and tv host, Ana García Siñeriz who introduced Marc Puig, Chairman and CEO of Puig and designer Carolina Herrera.

Carolina Herrera: 35 Years of Fashion, published by Rizzoli is a celebration of Carolina. Herrera’s three and half decades of timeless and elegant designs. The book is both a portrait of  the designer’s career and a look forward to her future.  The selection of images includes editorial pictures by renowned fashion photographers, stylists, and editors, as well as two portfolios of new photography created exclusively for this book that interpret looks from the House’s archive through a contemporary lens.
