flydubai wins “Airline with the Best Connectivity in the Middle East” for the third time at the Business Traveller Middle East Awards 2026

The Dubai-based carrier was recognised for its ongoing commitment to enhancing connectivity from the UAE at the 25th edition of the Business Traveller Middle East Awards

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 19 June 2026: flydubai, the Dubai-based carrier, received the “Airline with the Best Connectivity in the Middle East” award for the third time at the Business Traveller Middle East Awards 2026.

Attending the award ceremony held in Dubai were Mohammed Hareb AlMheiri, Chief Procurement & Technology Officer at flydubai, and Mohamed Hassan, Senior Vice President of Airport Services & Cargo at flydubai.

The award, voted for by the public and readers of the magazine, recognises the carrier’s agility which has supported flydubai’s ambitious growth strategy in enabling the free flows of trade and tourism and providing more convenient travel options to and from Dubai. ​

As we continue to grow our operations, we remain focused on providing our customers with greater travel options, while supporting Dubai’s position as a world-class aviation hub.”

The carrier recently announced the start of its three-times-weekly flights to Benghazi in Libya from 17 June, as well as its upcoming daily services to Bangkok in Thailand from 01 July and Pokhara from 23 September 2026.

Between June and September 2026, flydubai is operating its seasonal summer network which includes Al Alamein and Antalya alongside popular holiday destinations Batumi, Dubrovnik, Mykonos, Olbia, Santorini and Trabzon.

Today, the carrier operates to more than 100 destinations and is served by a modern and efficient fleet of Boeing 737 aircraft. ​
