Sony has just stepped even further into the action camera giant's territory with the launch of two new Sony Action Cam models offering a choice of either 4K or HD capture along with game-changing image stabilization capabilities. Sony has partnered with The Dubai Talk Show, the first English-speaking night talk show in the region broadcasted on Fox Channel featuring celebrity interviews, comedy segments and topical monologue jokes. The Celebrity Drive interview segment of the show that is filmed in a car will be filmed with the latest Sony FDR-X3000 Action Cam with its first celebrity Katinka Hosszú three-time Olympic champion in swimming interviewed by TV Host Loubo Siois while driving in the streets of Dubai.
Sony's market research has found that SteadyShot is the number one feature that has drawn customers to its action cameras, so a new stabilization system makes perfect sense. BOSS (Balanced Optical SteadyShot) works by moving the sensor and lens unit together to counter vibrations, which smooths out video without cropping or adding additional digital processing to the image.
The Executive Producer and TV Host of The Dubai Talk Show, Loubo Siois described the partnership on his own words “I have been passionate user of Sony products since I remember myself, now we can film the growing interview segment in a car, which became popular by James Corden's Carpool Karaoke. The Sony Action Cam offers amazing 4K resolution and SteadyShot stabilization to achieve fantastic results to satisfy our viewers”
Both new cameras are available to the retail consumers in the Middle East since October. Customers will have the option of buying them as kits with the new Live-View Remote, or as the camera body alone. The FDR-X3000 will retail for 2099 AED, while the HDR-AS300 kit will go for 1599 AED.
