Huawei unveil the fastest indoor wireless connection in the Middle East

New era of connectivity to support large data transfer and accessibility
Dubai, October 20, 2016 – Huawei, a leading global ICT solutions provider, launched the Middle East’s first indoor wireless connection. The latest small cell, low-powered radio access nodes was showcased at the Middle East Small Cell Summit, which recently took place at the Conrad Hotel in Dubai.
The new Huawei Small Cell solution allows users to experience high speed wireless networks with up to 1GBPS, offering 20 times the current average speed. Such high speed connectivity enables users to access services that require ultra-fast networks, such as cloud storage, HD video and virtual reality, in real time.
“Using Huawei’s Small Cell technology, wireless network will be able to offer users with unrivaled high speed internet at work and at home”, said Louis Lou, Huawei Small Cell Marketing Director, “Small cell technology is instrumental to enabling businesses across the UAE with the latest advancement in high speed, high capacity connectivity to support their digital transformation.”
Huawei plans to help operators in the region expand mobile network coverage through the implementation of small cell projects, which are considered essential to connectivity as regional cities continue their charge to become smarter.
