Abu Dhabi, UAE, 05 October 2016: LG Electronics (LG) is marking an impactful participation at the inaugural edition of Climate Abu Dhabi, an exhibition dedicated to the heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVACR) industry, showcasing its latest innovations in green and energy efficient air conditioning solutions.
As part of its participation at the event currently underway at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), LG has showcased its latest inverter technology platform that achieves 65 percent more energy saving, 60 percent faster cooling and greater durability, ensuring optimal indoor environmental comfort for users.
LG offers a wide range of HVAC and energy solutions across the world from its eight global production bases with an annual production capacity of 15 million units. With a solid presence in the residential air conditioner business segment, LG ACs are designed to withstand extreme climate conditions, ensuring powerful cooling even in the hottest of Gulf countries.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Yong Geun Choi, President of LG Electronics Gulf said, “Our participation in Climate Abu Dhabi 2016 articulates LG’s priority to strongly reinforce its leading residential and commercial air conditioning solutions and services portfolio in the region. Through our consistent focus on innovation and eco-friendly solutions, LG continues to ensure it is in line with the demands of current government regulations as well as that of today’s consumers seeking optimal air quality within living and working environments.”
In line with the major HVAC regulations prevalent in the region like LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) certification, Arab Energy Efficiency Building Regulations, and GCC Standardization Council (GSO), among others, LG ensures that its products strictly comply with the latest energy efficiency norms laid down by the respective regulators, government, and other green building policy makers of a particular country in the region.
“Through our participation in the Climate Abu Dhabi exhibition, LG seeks to create greater awareness for our energy efficient products as well as our unique services that have been designed to deliver on evolving customer needs more effectively. In addition to our existing engineering, design, installation and supervision support, LG now offers direct service support such as in-warranty and annual maintenance for all our valued customers through our subsidiary company Hi-M Solutek - the world’s leading HVAC services and maintenance provider,” added Choi.
Aimed at initiating dialogue about the new range of eco-friendly products and solutions available within the climate and cold chain sector, Climate Abu Dhabi 2016 is the latest initiative by the emirate of Abu Dhabi to highlight energy efficiency and environment sustainability. Revolving around three themes of indoor climate (HVAC), process cooling and cold chain technology, the exhibition spotlights cutting-edge innovations that make a difference in achieving energy efficiency, indoor air quality, food safety and connectivity.
The inaugural edition of the exhibition is drawing the participation of over 5,000 industry specialists as well as high-level decision makers and experts from world-leading industry associations including Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Manufacturers’ Association (ISKID) in Turkey and Eurovent, Europe’s leading industry association for Indoor Climate (HVAC), Process Cooling, and Food Cold Chain Technologies. Climate Abu Dhabi 2016 is organised by Dome Exhibitions and Euroexpo, and draws the support of ADNEC, Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and AbuDhabiEvents.ae as key partners.
