The Lazar Group launches its third school - Little Leaders School
Dubai, UAE, October 4, 2016: The Lazar Group which launched The Bloomington Academy, Ajman’s first British school in 2014, is now opening its first British preschool Little Leaders this October.
Little Leaders is a 500 capacity, eco-friendly preschool, which will engage with children at both the Nursery and Kindergarten levels and is accepting students from eighteen months to five years of age. The preschool will be Ajman’s first school that is completely solar powered, in line with the UAE’s National Agenda and its vision for promoting a sustainable environment. This initiative is completely in sync with The Lazar Groups philosophy of educating pupils on the importance of caring for the environment.
Little Leaders is being pitched as a signature school for the alpha generation; that is, a school custom – built to provide for a generation that is growing up in an acutely technology driven environment. The learning programmes at Little Leaders will therefore be largely based on and enabled by technology.
Little Leaders will have no more than twenty pupils in each class. Classes are facilitated by CACHE certified Teachers and supported by fully trained Nannies. Facilities within the grounds of the preschool include a fully functioning botanical garden that will house birds, and nature trails. This will give teachers the opportunity to conduct their lessons outside of the classroom, helping children better relate their learning to real-life experiences.
The Chairman of The Lazar Group, Lanson Lazar, says of the opening, “The launch of Little Leaders will create tech - savvy and leveraged learning for its pupils, who are adept in the use of IT to discover and empower their own learning. We also look at educating tomorrow’s leaders in the importance of looking after the environment. By ensuring we create a future generation of environmentally caring individuals, we will have a positive effect on the rest of their lives.”
Following the success of its current schools, The Lazar Group is looking to further invest in education in the UAE’s Northern Emirates and is currently exploring opportunities to open further schools.
