Mercer appoints Mustafa Faizani Market Leader & CEO of its Middle East, India, Turkey and Africa Market

Dubai, UAE, October 3, 2016: Mercer Middle East, a global consulting leader in advancing health, wealth and careers, and a wholly owned subsidiary of Marsh & McLennan Companies (NYSE: MMC) has appointed Mustafa Faizani, a 10 year Mercer veteran, as Market Leader & CEO for its IMETA region, which comprises the Middle East, India, Turkey and Africa. He will also serve as CEO of Mercer UAE.
Mercer has had a presence in the Middle East since 2007 and has a team of more than 200 colleagues based in India, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Africa. Mr. Faizani will focus on building Mercer’s capabilities in this critical growth market to deliver innovative products and solutions, provide high-quality client service and profitably grow the business.

Mr. Faizani is a Mercer veteran. He joined the company in Los Angeles in 2007 to work in the firm’s US Heath and Benefits and Retirement units. He has served as CFO of Mercer’s Growth Markets Region since 2012. Earlier this year he took on the additional responsibility of Business Operations Leader for the region. He started his career as a Senior Investment Analyst at a capital management firm before moving to a California-based bank where he held the role of Vice President and Consultant for Retirement Plan Services.
