Dubai, UAE, September 14, 2016: Bollywood Parks™ Dubai, part of Dubai Parks and Resorts, the largest integrated theme park destination set to open on October 31 2016, today announced another of their Bollywood powerhouse associations for the world’s first Bollywood inspired theme park. This time, it is with the man of many talents - Farhan Akhtar, to create his attraction, Cinemagic featuring Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, an experience that will take visitors through the making of this blockbuster movie.
Having attained a cult status, Excel Entertainment’s blockbuster Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara was the perfect choice for this “on the set” experience. Visitors will not only get to be a part of the attraction but gain insight on what goes into the making of a blockbuster.
Explaining the making of the attraction, Farhan Akhtar said, “We are doing a little section of hosting, that needs to be done for the Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara experience. So here I am, ready to take you on the sets and start filming.”
Reema Kagti, an acclaimed director of movies such as Talaash and Dil Dhadakne Do, further added, “Welcome to Bollywood! Today we are filming a very special ride for Bollywood Parks™ Dubai for the film Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. We hope you have fun!”
The attraction is re-created from the Excel entertainment box-office hit, that follows the expedition of three friends in Spain to discover themselves, and visitors can not only live those amazing moments from the film, but will also get to be a part of a production set and learn the ropes of movie making.
The attraction will take guests through the making of the blockbuster, where visitors will be taken through 3 different rooms, comprising of green screens, Foley stages which allow guests to re-create sounds used in movie productions – i.e clapping, running, cheering, in addition to stage sets as well. From running with the bulls to skydiving with Farhan Akhtar, guests will get the chance to learn what goes into creating the ultimate box office hit, with an added treat of watching a short clip of their experience on the movie set towards the end.
The Cinemagic featuring Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara experience wouldn’t be complete without the producer-director duo of the original film, Ritesh Sidhwani and Zoya Akhtar. Having always been behind the camera, this was a refreshing change for producer and co-founder of Excel Entertainment Sidhwani, where he said, “Today I am not producing! I’ll be in front of the camera just for you at Bollywood Parks™ Dubai!”
Located at Bollywood Parks™ Dubai within the Bollywood Film Studios featuring Hall of Heroes zone, this family-friendly attraction will get guests to share in the magic of filmmaking and post-production and they may even get to be part of the action.
