The region's favourite beauty tool experts, Tweezerman, explains how to apply false lashes
Dubai, UAE, September 7, 2016: Tweezerman, award winning beauty tool brand, has been often highlighted in several lessons on false lashes. The experts at Tweezerman share their tips on the do how of false lashes that celebrity make up artists do.
Step 1: Gently curl your lashes using the Tweezerman Classic Eyelash Curler. Line up lashes and cut the width if the strip is too long for your eye. It is rare that I find full strips need trimming but if they do, trim from the outer corner of the fake strip before you apply.
Step 2: Add a dime size amount of eyelash glue to an artist palette or the back of your hand. Dip the end of a thin eyeshadow brush into the glue and use it to apply a fine line onto the full lash strip. Let them become tacky (vs wet) for 10-20 seconds. Or, if applying clusters, grab a cluster at a time from the package and dip into the glue, give it a few seconds to become tacky before applying to your eye. Clusters you can apply right across or in certain parts of your lashes for thickening or dramatic effect.
Step 3: Looking down into the Tweezerman 10x Lighted magnifying mirror, and apply by centering lashes using Tweezerman Slant tweezers to help placement and gently push in place with the blunt end of the tweezers. Looking down (vs straight) into a mirror stops you from blinking as well as helps to place lashes at your lash line. Placement is important as you don't want to see a seam of skin in between your lashes and your falsies.
Step 4: After the glue dries, curl with a heated lash wand, if needed. This blends lashes together. The metal crimp-type curlers will bend the lashes and not very well; the heated wand is subtle.
Step 5: Always add mascara to blend the appearance of the falsies with your own lashes.
Tweezerman products are available in Sephora, Debenhams, Boots, Harvey Nichols, Bloomingdales and Areej Stores all across the UAE.
