“Peter Pan, The Never Ending Story” brings a timeless story to life during Abu Dhabi Summer Season

The tale of the boy who never grows up will be performed live at Al Raha Beach Theatre 

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – 28 August 2016:   Arriving in Abu Dhabi straight from the enchanted island of Neverland, Peter Pan is set to delight audiences in an extraordinary theatre production, performing at Al Raha Beach Theatre from August 31st to September 3rd as part of Abu Dhabi Summer Season. 

Brought to Abu Dhabi by Alchemy Project in partnership with Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority (TCA Abu Dhabi), theatre-goers will find themselves enthralled in a mesmerizing experience of stunning visuals and theatrical magic they will not forget. With more than 30 actors, dancers and acrobats from ten different countries performing on stage, the range of talent on display in this spectacle includes everything from incredible somersaults to miraculous feats of illusion. 

Designed to be an immersive adventure for audiences of all ages, the show features a number of narrative techniques that will transform the performance into an interactive experience. While the imaginative sets will shift from a London home and library to vast green forests and lush rivers in an instant, the narrator of the story will hover by magic above the audience and guide them through a tale of swashbuckling pirates and a whole world of adventure. 

The story will be told against the engaging backdrop of an original score from musical director Matt Dunkley, containing 16 classic songs from world-famous artists such as Robbie Williams, Rod Stewart and Supertramp.

Peter Pan is a legendary character of British folklore, created by Scottish novelist and playwright J.M. Barrie. The famous tale of his wild adventures has graced theatres since 1904, appearing and featuring in numerous productions such as Peter Pan, a silent movie produced by Paramount Pictures in 1924, and an animated film of the same name produced by Disney in 1953. 

“Peter Pan, The Never Ending Story” will be performed from Wednesday August 31st  to Saturday September 3rd  at Al Raha Beach Theatre. Tickets begin at AED 150, with Gold and Platinum tickets at AED 250 and AED 350 respectively. Tickets can be purchased online at www.tixbox.com
