Dubai, UAE – 17 July, 2016- Hair gels are marketed today as an essential grooming tool for men, especially helping younger males like me in moulding and styling my hair as I want. With a plethora of choices attractively placed across the aisles of supermarkets and supported by attractive commercials, billboards and posters, it is not easy to decide which one to buy. After thoroughly going through the label on the packaging, which reads ‘unique combination of gel and cream’ and ‘trusted herbal ingredients,’ I decided to give Vatika Styling Gel Cream a try. Since it is available in three variants; ‘Wave’ for wet looks, ‘Slick’ for strong hold and ‘Spike’ for extreme hold, I decided to test all three for some time and assess the results of using it.
Formulation
While most of the hair gels for men are chemical-based, Vatika Styling Gel Cream is different because of its alcohol-free formula and a 2-in-1 concept with the styling of a gel and nourishment of a cream. It is enriched with trusted natural ingredients. ‘Wave with Splash Effect’ is a formulation of aloe vera, honey and jarjeer; ‘Slick with Smooth Shape’ is fortified with lemon, henna and olive; and ‘Spike with Sculpted Shape’ is a blend of cactus, olive and nettle to deliver a gravity defying hold and intense shine.
Verdict
While ‘Wave with Splash Effect’ gave excellent ‘out of shower’ look, ‘Slick with Smooth Shape’ was highly effective in delivering long-lasting hold and glossy shine. However, if you are getting ready for an adventurous day and want a gravity defying hold, then I would recommend ‘Spike with Sculpted Shape.’ Vatika Styling Gel Cream definitely helped me hold my hair the way I desired for longer. Its cream-based formula provided much needed nourishment to hair and scalp. Even after using it for a period of time, I did not experience common problems associated with frequent use of hair gels such as dandruff, flakiness, dryness, itchiness, and hair fall.
Packaging
The three variants of Vatika Styling Gel Cream are widely available across all supermarkets and stores in the UAE in attractively designed 250 ml tubs.
