Customers can now activate their roaming data bundles before they travel from UAE, ensuring immediate connectivity on arrival at their destination from the moment they land. Validity and allowances will only start upon first usage of data in the visited destination.

To sign up for roaming options, postpaid customers can SMS “data” to 5102 to view the available data bundles. If active for more than 3 months, customers can SMS easy to 5102, to get roaming activated within the 78 destinations, including new destinations such as Brazil, Georgia, Cyprus, Iraq, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kenya and Mexico, amongst others. du offers business users always-on roaming, ensuring constant connectivity and seamless country-specific data roaming irrespective of operator. To activate the service within the first 3 months, customers need to either make a deposit or activate direct debit, followed by a request to activate roaming through our customer touchpoints. Prepaid customers have roaming already active on their lines by default. They should have sufficient credit in their ‘More Time’ wallet, to be able to purchase data bundles and use their phones for voice calls.
