Consul General of the Republic of Korea Inaugurates Popular Korean Food Assortments at Al Maya Supermarkets

Dubai, UAE, June 28, 2016:  H.E. Mr Nam Duk Heo, Consul General of Korea, inaugurated popular Korean Food assortments at Al Maya Supermarket at Murqqabat, Dubai, informed Mr Kamal Vachani, Group Director, Al Maya Group.   Mr Kamal Vachani said that this is the first time popular Korean Food assortment  has been made available at the selected Al Maya Supermarkets.

Consul General of Korea, H.E. Mr Nam Duk Heo appreciated the efforts taken by Al Maya Supermarkets in promoting popular Korean Food assortments in the UAE. The Popular Korean Food assortments include confectionery, soya milk, juices, snacks, noodles, sauces, etc. informed Mr Kamal Vachani.

Al Maya Group, the UAE-based business conglomerate, has more than 40 supermarkets in the GCC countries in addition to other businesses.  Plans are afoot to open more supermarkets in the GCC countries, this was disclosed by Mr Kamal Vachani, Group Director, Al Maya Group.

H.E. Mr Nam Duk Heo, discussed further enhancing the business relations through Korean companies with Al Maya.   Mr Kamal Vachani assured full support in promoting Korean products through Al Maya Supermarkets and keen to expand its products portfolio from Korea.

Mr Vachani, thanked H.E. Mr Nam Duk Heo in his visit to Al Maya Supermarket to inaugurate popular Korean Food assortments at Al Maya Supermarkets.
