Baume & Mercier celebrates feminity by offering Promesse Awards to Rebecca Hall and Violante Placido during the Awards Ceremony of TaorminaFilmFest on Sunday 12th of June.
At the second Awards Ceremony of the 62° edition of TaorminaFilmFest yesterday evening on Sunday 12th of June, Baume & Mercier was very honoured to offer “PromesseTaormina Award” to two talentuous actresses : Rebecca Hall and Violante Placido.
Rebecca Hall is a British-American actress. In 2003, she won the Ian Charleson Award for her debut stage performance in a production of Mrs. Warren's Profession. She has appeared in the films The Prestige, Vicky Cristina Barcelona (for which she was nominated for a Golden Globe), The Town, Frost/Nixon, Iron Man 3, Transcendence, and The Gift.She recently appeared in The BFG, a 2016 American fantasy adventure film directed and co-produced by Steven Spielberg.
Baume & Mercier was extremely honoured to celebrate her talent and offered her the “PromesseTaormina Award”.
Rebecca Hall received a Promesse Watch, the iconic collection for women. Violante Placido is an Italian actress and singer, born in Roma. She is the daughter of actor-director Michele Placido and actress Simonetta Stefanelli. In 2010, she appeared alongside George Clooney in the drama-thriller The American. She also played Nadya in the 2012 film Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, a sequel to the 2007 film Ghost Rider, both based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name.
