Formulated by Kiehl’s chemists, the Smoothing Oil-infused Haircare collection is a powerful tool against a common enemy: frizz.  Rich with natural ingredients like fair trade restorative and protective Argan Oil, and Babassu Oil extracted from Brazilian palm trees, Kiehl’s Smoothing Oil-Infused Haircare gets to work on gently detangling snarls and smoothing down the frizz, all without adding any additional weight. 

Fair trade Argan Oil comes from the Atlas Mountains in Morocco, and is sourced from the Women’s Targanine Cooperative, which provides fairly traded oil while preserving the local culture and environment.  Argan Oil has been a beauty tool since ancient times, and is recognized for its restorative and protective properties.

This is because it contains natural poly un-saturated fatty acids like Tocopherols (Vitamin E), and Omega 6 and Omega 9 fatty acids. Babassu oil comes from the fruit of the Brazilian Babassu palm tree found in the Amazonian rainforest. It has well known moisturizing properties that are beneficial for skin and hair. The inclusion of Babassu Oil in the formula helps to restore the hair to a soft, silky smoothness.
