Dubai, May 2016: The LightHouse Center for Wellbeing is proud to announce the launch of their new Resolutions Sessions on Wednesday the 25th of May. This bi-annual event complements The LightHouse’s “The Conscious Parent”, “Wellness Wednesday”, and the newly added “Relationship Revival” Mastery Seminar Series.
The LightHouse is deeply committed to community education, offering a wide range of seminars, workshops and talks that aim to inform, inspire and support children, adolescents, adults and couples on all topics relating to mental health and wellbeing.
The center’s multidisciplinary team of psychologists and psychiatrists - led by Managing Director Dr. Saliha Afridi - is expanding and strengthening its educational program, building on the success of its highly popular, not-for-profit “The Conscious Parent” and “Wellness Wednesday” Mastery Seminar Series.
The newly launched Resolutions Sessions are designed as a powerful tool for individuals to progress towards their highest aspirations, with guided work on self-assessment, goal setting and action planning. The sessions will take place twice a year, once just before the summer and once just before the New Year.
Registration is now open for the first Resolutions Session, which will be held on Wednesday the 25th of May at the LightHouse’s new location on Al Wasl Road in Al Safa 2 area. Participants will be introduced to practical insights, tips and tools to help them make improvements in their personal, professional and family lives.
A new Mastery Seminar Series called “Relationship Revival”, which focuses on couples and relationships, will also be launched later in the year. The series will be lead by Dr. Tara Wyne, Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Director at The LightHouse.
