Dubai Health Authority (DHA) conducts on the spot recruitment at Careers UAE 2016.

- 100 interviews took place during the three day event, and several candidates have been shortlisted
Dubai, United Arab Emirates, May 18, 2016: The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) conducted 100 interviews during the 16th edition of Careers UAE 2015 and recruited ten candidates’ on the spot.
The three-day event, which concluded today, was held at the Dubai World Trade Centre and aims to present Emirati graduates and job seekers with job opportunities in the private and public sector in UAE.
Amna Al Suwaidi, Director of Human Resources at the DHA, said: “ DHA is keen to recruit Emiratis and provide them with a meaningful career path in line with our strategy to promote and support national development. This year, we received job applications from different healthcare fields such as medical, nursing, paramedical, and administration. The high turnout of applications for jobs in the health sector reflects the ongoing growth of the sector.”
Al Suwaidi added that the DHA offers Emiratis graduates with ample educational and training opportunities, within the country and abroad, so that they can pursue higher medical qualifications and serve the medical needs of the Emirate.
Al Suwaidi highlighted this aids employee retention and development and helps ensure a constant stream of highly specialized medical professionals in the health sector in Dubai.
DHA offers attractive packages for Emiratis that include: competitive salaries, health insurance, plane tickets and nature of work compensation for some professions.
Currently 100 per cent of DHA’s top leadership are Emiratis and Emiratis hold 80 per cent of supervisory positions.
Furthermore, 77.4 per cent of DHA’s Emirati employees are female and 22.6 per cent are male, DHA strives to provide females with constant career growth.
The authority pays special emphasis on providing employees with a positive work environment and promotes innovation and creativity at work.
