Big Brands celebrates the Iconic Female Designers of the World

Dubai, UAE, March 15, 2016:  Big Brands Factory Outlet, the retail division of Time Machine Group, observed the month of the International Women's Day and Mother’s Day honoring some of the world’s pioneering female designers who made great contributions to the fashion industry. Across the globe, these women have been the drivers of the fashion industry with their passion for creativity and determination to bring innovation in the industry. They are an inspiration for budding designers to create a niche of their own in the fashion world. 

Did you know that the brand Elizabeth Arden was created by Florence Nightingale Graham? Florence started from humble beginnings, but was one of the wealthiest women of her time at the peak of her career. Elizabeth Arden was originally a beauty salon specialized in Paris facial massage techniques.

‎Coco Chanel revolutionized the face of female fashion in her time and her brand has continued to do so till date. After World War I, Coco’s incredible designs created a movement in the fashion industry, encouraging the abandonment of corsette dresses and progressing into a more elegant style that has come to define the brand today.

The incredible ‎Nina Ricci, originally known as Maria Nielli, was an aspiring designer from the tender age of 13. She built a brand that would revolutionize fashion since 1930. 

Jean Lanvin, the founder of Lanvin Paris joined the Syndicat le Couture in the 1900s, marking her distinct eye for fashion amongst the high brow populace of her time. She went on to own her own dye factory, home décor range and perfume line by the 1920s. 

Estee Lauder graced the fashion industry by introducing the most groundbreaking fragrances, Madonna Louise Ciccone aka Madonna, the queen of pop music led one of the most successful music careers till date. Pamela Skais – Levy and Gela Nash-Taylor, the founders of Juicy Couture, were earlier known for velour tracksuits and dresses.
