UAE residents looking for a new job are encouraged to attend the Dubai Job Show. The Dubai Job Show is the UAE’s first ever jobs and careers event aimed at the UAE’s expats community. This three day event will provide job seekers with the best opportunity to meet key people in Business, Finance, Tourism, Hospitality, Public Services, Healthcare, Technology, Retail, Leisure and Oil & Gas helping future candidates and HR departments bridge the gap between application and employment.
The free event will be held in Dubai from Thursday, April 28 to Saturday, April 30. Several hundreds of jobs will be on offer from a vast range of employers with the chance to start a new career in variety of industries.
By abolishing the 6-month employment ban, employees will now have the freedom to change jobs versus leaving the country, thus retaining talent and expertise in the UAE. Many companies more than ever prefer hiring existing talent and find the Dubai Job Show to be the perfect platform to recruit a variety of professionals who are already in the country.
As well as the chance to find out about a possible new career, the show will feature various skills workshops to boost visitor’s employability, as well as advice on how to handle interviews and making their CV attractive to employers.
Entry is free and the event runs from 10am until 10pm during all 3 days. Visitors do not need to register, but should attend with copies of their CV.
The event is organised by Worldsouq, the name behind series of successful exhibitions such as Motor Village, Money Souq and The Property Show to name a few.
