Dubai, UAE, February 28, 2016: Grand Hyatt Dubai – Cheer, joy, lots of pancakes and authentic drinks – this is what Grand Hyatt Dubai has lined up for Maslenitsa, the Russian festival that welcomes the spring.
In collaboration with Art Labs Event Management, Grand Hyatt Dubai will debut the celebrations on the 2nd of March, when a festive garden decor will host a special entertainment programme: folk dancers, live music, along with delicious traditional Russian food and drinks.
Lots of entertaining activities are scheduled until 12th of March, including special additions to the menu for the International Women's Day, and cozy family brunches on 5th and 12th of March.
"It is the first time we host Maslenitsa at Grand Hyatt Dubai, and we are very proud that we have included this celebration on our diverse list of annual events to create moments of more for our guests. We have worked closely with people from the Russian-speaking communities to make Maslenitsa as authentic as it is in its home countries", said Shaji Thomas, Area Director of Sales & Marketing, Hyatt Hotels Dubai.
Maslenitsa, also known as the Pancake or Butter Week, is a family holiday full of tasty dishes. The pancakes with different fillings are the star of the menu.
However, the delicious treats at Grand Hyatt will include Russian borsch, pickled herring with onions, and pelmeni.
Maslenitsa Spring Festival at Grand Hyatt Dubai runs from 2nd – 12th March.
Open Tuesday to Friday from 7:00 PM to midnight and for brunch on Saturday from 12:30 PM to 4:00 PM.
Buffet inclusive of soft beverages AED215 per person. Alcoholic beverages are charged upon consumption.
