UAE, December 22, 2015- Imdaad, a leading provider of integrated facilities and waste management solutions in the GCC, has announced that its CEO, Jamal Lootah, has topped fmME magazine’s Power 40 list for the fourth year in a row. The region’s leading monthly magazine for facilities management (FM) and strata professionals, FM service providers, building owners and developers cited Imdaad’s impressive financial performance and a string of high-profile contracts under Lootah’s guidance and efforts, noting the company’s expected eight per cent revenue growth over 2014 this year to reach roughly USD 136 million. This latest achievement has cemented anew the company’s leading position in the region’s thriving FM industry.
Lootah’s numerous recognitions throughout the year are also a reflection of his no-nonsense and forward-looking style of leadership. The CEO was named one of the winners at the 12th Middle East CEO Excellence Awards and the 4th Middle East Future Excellence Awards. Imdaad was also honored with the Green FM Organisation of the Year award by the Emirates Green Building Council. As for its major agreements in 2015, fmME cited Imdaad’s Total FM agreement with Musanada to service mosques in Al Ain; a contract overseeing the management of bus stations in Abu Dhabi; and the high-profile Qatar Museum FM contract.
Lootah said: “It is a privilege to lead fmME’s Power 40 list again this year. The year 2015 has been a fruitful year for us at Imdaad and we hope to continue, if not surpass, this strong performance next year and beyond. While such a recognition has inspired me to bring the organization to new heights of excellence, I am also fully aware that it also entails a major responsibility for me to continuously embark on initiatives and projects that will further drive industry growth in the region. I am prepared to take on the challenge, with the help of our hardworking teams and strategic local, regional and global partners. I thank all individuals behind this latest recognition. Rest assured that Imdaad remains fully committed to its objectives of supporting not only the growth of the industry but the entire UAE as well.”
