UAE's anti aging medical elite met at ICAAM Middle East last weekend

Dubai, UAE:  The International Congress in Aesthetics, Anti-Aging Medicine & Medical Spa (ICAAM) Middle East, organised by Informa Life Sciences Exhibitions, concluded on Sunday 6th of December with the feature live workshop sessions held at the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery Hospital, Dubai.

Local and international recognised experts, from across the medical aesthetic spectrum, revealed the latest minimally invasive aesthetic techniques and trends being used across the UAE and Middle East..

According to Dr Firas Hamdan, Cosmetic Surgeon, American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery Hospital, Dubai, “Every year ICAAM provides us with the opportunity to meet world pioneers in the aesthetic surgery industry and watch them perform their signature procedures live which in itself is a unique learning experience. Attendees were able to learn from them and benefit from their knowledge first hand. Some of these procedures such as the Scarless “Serdev Suture” lifting methods have been performed at ICAAM for the first time in the Middle East.”

Some of the topics covered at the conferences and the live workshops include the Scar less “Serdev Suture” lifting methods, liposuction, managing the body dysmorphic disorder patient, body contouring, chemical peels and fat transfer to name a few. The live workshops were very unique to ICAAM Middle East, as plastic surgeons were able to get world-class education by actually watching a procedure in action. The procedures featured in this year’s live surgery sessions are live Thread lifts, 3D butt reshaping instead of volume increasing, combining PRP procedure with aesthetic procedures, and more.
