The Solution

el Grocer has developed a ‘marketplace’ app that allows users to easily navigate the aisles (or quickly search for products they need), add them to their basket and select from a list of groceries nearby that delivery to them in 1 hour (or less)! Some of the key problems that el Grocer aims to solve with this are:

• Intuitive & beautiful product experience to see and select with few taps
• Getting your delivery fast from neighborhood groceries & supermarkets
• Transparently charging Same Store Prices without any mark-ups
• Not being restricted to the range of a single outlet but access to a big range

Other features include: quick re-orders, favorites, grocery reviews, order status,…etc. with many more such as: offers / promotions, shopping list, and so on that will be added in the near future.

The Future

el Grocer is still in its starting stage supporting select areas in Dubai and implementing a few more useful features, but within just a few months the plan is to scale to entire Dubai, Market aggressively, and use Analytics to fuel insights that will help continuously improve & upgrade the user experience.
