Legacy continues as 12th edition of DIFF presents in association with Dubai Studio City

Dubai, December 6th, 2015 – The Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF) today announced that the 12th edition of the Festival will once again be presented in association with Dubai Studio City (DSC), the region’s leading production, broadcasting and content creation hub for international media productions. Since the Festival’s inception in 2004, DIFF and DSC have continued a fruitful collaboration to drive the growth and development of the film industry and its infrastructure throughout the region in support of local and global communities, and aspiring filmmakers alike. 

A perfect fit for the Festival and the requirements of many of its participants, DSC provides the ideal amalgamation of cutting edge facilities, state-of-the-art infrastructure, talent pool and a dynamic business community to support the budding growth of broadcast, film, television and music production companies across the region.

Commenting on the longstanding strategic partnership between DIFF and DSC, Abdulhamid Juma, DIFF Chairman, said: “DSC has supported the production of a multitude of encapsulating films that have been showcased at DIFF thanks to its rich talent pools, provisions of supporting infrastructure and a professional working environment.
