Dubai Health Authority signs MoU with Dubai Courts

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, November 11, 2015: The Dubai Health Authority recently signed a memorandum of understanding ( MoU) with Dubai Courts with an aim to foster cooperation among government entities to achieve the vision of Dubai which is to be a centre of excellence in all fields.
The MoU was signed between HE Humaid Al Qatami, Chairman of the Board and Director General of the Dubai Health Authority and HE Tarish Eid Al Mansouri, Director-General of Dubai Courts in presence of a number of officials from both sides.
Al Qatami, said: “The aim of the MoU is to establish an effective partnership between the two sides to realize mutual strategic objectives, exchange information and studies related to our fields of work and collaborate to execute joint projects to ensure proper and rapid implementation. This further demonstrates the importance of cooperation and coordination between different sectors of the UAE which is in line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.”
Al Qatami added that the MoU will help boost awareness among the DHA’s staff members about the laws and regulations of the UAE and will help non-lawyers better understand UAE legal procedures. Similarly, DHA staff will impart health education about the importance of regular screenings and living a healthy lifestyle.
Al Mansouri also highlighted that such cooperation is in line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai to foster cooperation among various government entities with the common goal of achieving excellence in services.
