Dubai, UAE – November 1, 2015 - WebNMS, a leading provider of scalable software platforms for IoT and multi-vendor network management solutions, will exhibit its IoT Platform and key enterprise applications at the Arab Future Cities Summit, 2015. The Arab Future Cities Summit is taking place on November 2nd and 3rd at Sofitel Palm Resort, Palm Jumeirah, Dubai.
The award-winning platform is engineered to address major enterprise concerns such as energy management, remote site security and mobile asset tracking. Applications built on the platform’s open APIs allow enterprises to increase the productivity of high-value assets on the move or placed at remote locations while reducing their total operational expense (OPEX).
"The Arab Future Cities Summit is a great forum to exhibit our IoT Platform," said Prabhu Ramachandran, director of WebNMS division of Zoho Corporation. "United Arab Emirates has always welcomed advanced technologies for the betterment of citizens’ lives and governance. With Middle East heading towards a smarter future, there now exists an opportunity for the Internet of Things vendors, to develop smart city applications such as smart traffic management, efficient utility services, transportation and logistics, safety and building management solutions”, Mr. Prabhu further added.
WebNMS nurtures a harmonious partner ecosystem of sensors, gateways, system integrators and application developers. While the SIs and application developers can concentrate on their core competencies and rapidly develop bespoke enterprise applications, that meet the needs of their customers and users, WebNMS takes care of scalability, interoperability and security aspects. The company is looking to partner with IoT system integrators and developers from the Middle East, to help build intelligent IoT applications for Smart Cities of the future.
Most businesses rely on extracting value from intensive investment in high-value capital assets. They may be multiple remote sites, vehicle fleets, owned or leased portable equipment, utility equipment and services, etc. In order to leverage the efficiencies of IoT technology, enterprises need more flexible, scalable solutions built within an open ecosystem.
The WebNMS IoT Application Platform has already won awards for its open architecture and its industry-leading applications. The applications are crafted to track remote asset performance, mobile assets, energy usage patterns and environmental impacts. Some of the applications include fire safety equipment monitoring, water and other utility metering, smart street lighting, smart logistics management, smart fishing vessel monitoring etc. The platform shares collected information via open APIs to enable operational optimization with data analytics.
With the development of open applications for specific vertical markets, the WebNMS solution helps enterprises increase profits by optimizing asset productivity and reducing OPEX expenses such as energy and maintenance.
The company representatives along with partners, Elitser from UAE and Alnafitha International , from Saudi Arabia will be available at the WebNMS booth for discussion. At the Arab Future Cities Summit, attendees will witness live demo of ‘Smart City Solution’ and learn how Internet of Things technologies can be utilized to significantly improve city operations, upgrade data exchange, optimize costs and enhance lives of people and also drive revenue for businesses.
